Something i didn’t know I needed …. beautiful , private oasis.. something out of a dream. a wonderful experience only one could imagine.. but it’s a real wonderful experience that every mother and daughter should experience if possible. Thank you for making this a reality for us.

The entire experience was magical. Every detail was thoughtfully curated with so much intention. My daughter and I stayed in the treehouse, where we were cared for from beginning to end. We bonded during the joint workshops and also appreciated the opportunity to spend time apart while the girls and moms attended their own sessions. We both took advantage of the spa and enjoyed different types of massages, making it a special experience for each of us. The grounds are lush, beautiful, and inviting—we walked barefoot nearly the entire time. The staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was not only visually stunning but absolutely delicious. In fact, it was the best ceviche I’ve ever had. My daughter is a picky eater, yet she always found options that worked for her. This retreat gave us memories we’ll cherish forever. I already plan to return next summer with my son for the boys’ retreat.

My daughter and I attended this Mommy & Me retreat in Colombia, and it was absolutely magical! From the peaceful beaches to the incredible facilitators who created such a safe space for healing and connection, every moment was unforgettable. Sharing this experience with other amazing moms and daughters made it even more special—we laughed, cried, and grew closer in ways I never imagined. We left feeling lighter, deeply connected, and so grateful. Truly an experience every mother and daughter should have! 💕

This is my second retreat and there is a reason I keep coming back. Shanicia warm and inviting energy is refreshing. She curates trip that gives us time to sight see but also relax. I always leave learning something and focusing on things I want to improve. The ladies on this trip were amazing and even though I went solo, I felt right at home.

I actually can't describe the experience in words. I have struggled to do so for over a year now. As I sit here and TRY to type this review-- I can't. I'm getting teary eyed reminiscing. The friendships, the food, the guides, Shan, our resorts, the activities, the safari.... the list goes on and on. But I give the journey through Africa 5 stars and I give Shan all my love and gratitude for taking on the challenge to bring groups of strangers to THE MOTHERLAND. Truly unforgettable and I can't wait to do it again! I have never wanted to double back and repeat a trip -- BUT Kenya and Tanzania -- see you again soon.
